For a reliable and complete source of omega fatty acids, try Springtime's Ultra Omega 3-6-9 softgel. We chose the softgel because it protects the omega-rich oils, which have a tendency to oxidize (turn rancid) quickly. You will always find a nice fresh aroma, if you open up an Ultra Omega 3-6-9. Ultra Omega 3-6-9 Information
Springtime Ultra Omega 3-6-9
Springtime Ultra Omega 3-6-9 for people is a powerful combination of essential fatty acids, fatty acids and vitamin E that are crucial to total body health. Although these supplements have been known to moisturize dry, itchy skin, many people are unaware of how critical they are in healthy organ function and cellular health. Essential fatty acids (EFAs) cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained through diet, and that is why they are termed "essential." Springtime uses the most balanced blend of borage seed oil, distilled wild fish oil, and organic flaxseed oil.
Borage Seed Oil
Borage seed oil contains large amounts of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) and its parent fatty acid, linoleic acid (LA). GLA, an omega 6 fatty acid, helps cell membranes maintain their fluidity, and helps maintain elasticity of skin. GLA also has properties that foster a healthy inflammatory response, and supports the reproductive and immune systems. Borage seed oil also contains oleic acid, an omega 9 fatty acid, which is thought to support healthy heart function.
Distilled Wild Fish Oil
Distilled wild fish oil is a very valuable source of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), both omega 3 fatty acids. Anchovy, mackerel, and sardines have been a staple of the heart-healthy Mediterranean diet for thousands of years and are rich in EPA and DHA. EPA and DHA from these natural sources are easily assimilated into the body. This wild fish oil has been purified to be free of mercury, lead, and heavy metals. It also contains omega 3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is a precursor to EPA, and DHA. EPA and DHA are essential fatty acids and help maintain healthy skin, thyroid, nervous system, adrenal glands, and mucous membranes. They are also critical for healthy bones, teeth, and muscle mass. EPA and DHA are also known to support brain oxygenation and may support learning development.
Organic Flaxseed Oil
Organic flaxseed oil has all three omega fatty acids: 3, 6, and 9. These fatty acids support the regulation of the digestive, reproductive, cardiovascular, immune, respiratory, and nervous systems. This organic flaxseed oil has been stored and handled to be used as a dietary supplement and is the best grade possible.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that fights cell damage by neutralizing harmful free radicals. It has also been shown to support a healthy inflammatory response, support the immune system, and support the bodies healing mechanisms.*
